Although Dish Network reported a very good second quarter, the satellite company posted a loss of subscribers for the first time in over a year.
"It calls into question how long-term the turnaround will be, whether this subscriber loss is a single blip or whether there's something with their market proposition people didn't take to"
Dish Network, the number 2 U.S. satellite operator, said it lost about 19,000 subscribers in the quarter, ending the period with about 14.3 million subscribers total.
On a side note, DirecTV had a huge boos subscribers, predominately people of Latin America, thanks to the World Cup.
