Steam is having their annual holiday sales, with some games discounted up to 80%. The current, and about to expire deals, include GTA IV for $7.49, Mirror’s Edge for $4.99, S.T.A.L.K.E.R for $1.49, and lots of other bargains.
Another big discounted game at Steam, Frontlines: Fuel of War is now only $3.74, down from the original price of $14.99.
Steam is discounting the highly rated PC game Mass Effect by 50%, to only $9.99, for this weekend only. With a rating of 89 on Metacritic, it’s a fantastic game at a fantastic price.
Steam is having a 70% off sale for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, making the final price only $3.75 after the discount. The game is rated 82/100 from Metacritics.
GameHouse is celebrating their 10,000’s follower on Twitter by giving away three games for free. The games, Little Shop of Treasures, 4 Elements and Super Bounce Out, are available free to download for Windows users. Mac users can also get the games free, but they have to tweet @gamehouse to receive a Mac compatible coupon.
To celebrate the one year anniversary of the indie game, World of Goo, the game’s makers are having a very interesting way to celebrate the occasion. Instead of paying the normal $USD 20 price for the game, you get to decide how much the game is worth (as long as it’s over $1). So if you really like indie games and like to support them, you can pay the full price (or more), or you can pay the minimum and still help celebrate the one year anniversary of this great little puzzler.
