Gaming Zone3rd generation video game consoles, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii, have all been launched around the world. While each console's main function is gaming, in this day and age of "media convergence", all are capable of having at least some basic multimedia and video playback functions.

Both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 can act as media hubs, streaming your video, music and photos straight to your television. The Nintendo Wii can also act as your digital photo album, with video playback.

But due to licensing and proprietary formats, none of these consoles can play all your media files without at least some tweaking. This section links to several guides and downloads that can help you play all your video files.

We also have dedicated gaming forums on our website, where you can discuss all your gaming problem and issues.
