Dealnews has predicted that the price of Blu-ray players will drop to as low as $39 in 2011, and the Wii will be available for the low low price of $99.
They have also predicted that the Amazon Kindle device will be cut down to $99, and that you won't need to pay more than $50 for 2TB external storage.
To be fair, the predictions are not that far fetched when you consider the current prices of some of these goods - Blu-ray players went on sale for as low as $50 in 2010, and the Wii only needs another $50 price cut to reach the $99 price point.
But not all things will drop in prices, the cost of some will actually increase. Dealnews also posted a list of 20 items which will see rising costs in 2011, things like the Nintendo 3DS (compared to the current DS, I suppose), movie ticket prices, and even the cost of purchasing music on iTunes.
