LeVCR is a high resolution digital VCR software. It is designed to allow
real-time capture and compress of video sequences in MPEG-4/DivX at full
frame rate and resolution, from an inexpensive basic PCI TV capture card
(also accepts DV from firewire). Requires at least XP2000+ Athlon
processor or equivalent, and 256 MB of RAM.
Generated files are standard AVI depending on the codecs you specified
for encoding.
Once captured, you can edit avi files (cut/join) very quickly, with no
quality loss.
It also has a player module designed to use the secondary output from a
graphic board, while play control remains on main screen: for instance
with a dualscreen Radeon VE based graphic card and a TV as secondary
screen, and main screen remains available for other tasks!
Other features :
- Simulated input mode : to test system ability to realtime compress
video with specified codec and parameters
- Native VFW/WDM (DirectShow) compatibility
- Audio / video sync lock : even on very long captures, sound remains
synchronized with video.
- Time-shift of live source with simultaneous clip extraction capacity
- Compression profiles
- Dynamically (as recording) change recording end time
- Still picture grab while recording
- Still picture export from video file
- Editor can now output unlimited size AVI 2.0 files (NTFS)
- Optimized audio/video multiplexing minimizes disk accesses
- RealMagic Xcard or a standalone DivX/Mpeg-4 compatible player may be
used for very high quality TV output
Output Files: AVI, DivX, MPG
