The service is currently running only as a trial, and is scheduled to go on hiatus in June. We may see it return in the fall, or be replaced by a different business model if ABC execs think there is a better return for their investment. The current version of the service gives viewers the option of watching Lost, Desperate Housewives, Commander in Chief, and Alias as streaming feeds with minimal commercials. The commercials themselves can't be bypassed, making them attractive to advertisers tired of viewers skipping across them on their DVRs.
