Hitachi Corporation is now the worlds first one terabyte (TB) hard drive maker
The storage division of Hitachi is introducing the worlds first one terabyte (TB) hard drive. The Deskstar 7K1000 will be available in the next 3 months for a price of $399. So technically speaking, you’re spending about 40 cents for every gigabyte (GB).
Hitachi is also releasing the Cinemastar 1TB drive for the digital video recording fanatics.
