ESPNU is the new HD channel by ESPN that not only has football but also has basketball, baseball, lacrosse, softball, volleyball, wrestling, and hockey. All in high definition too.
ESPN says its Thursday and Saturday college gridiron match ups (the live ones, at least) will be part of more than 200 high-def events during the U’s first year in HD.
ESPNU is going HD on Thursday, August 28, with the kickoff of its college football coverage—Vanderbilt at Miami (Ohio) at 7:30 p.m.
