Its been a very long road for TiVo but it seems to have paid off by the court ordering DISH Network to pay TiVo $104 million dollars. It all started in 2006 when TiVo won a patent infringement lawsuit against Echostar (DISH Network).
Through countless appeals and trips to see the Supreme Court, it was unanimously decided that DISH Network has infringed on TiVo's "Time Warping" system.
DISH Network must pay 104 million to TiVo which is the original amount that the jury awarded in 2006, plus interest.
