Following in the footsteps of Pioneer, Vizio will also cease to make Plasma TVs to focus more on its LCD production.  Some will argue that LCDs just look better (as far as picture quality), especially on retail shelves side by side to Plasmas.

If you still prefer Plasmas, Vizio is almost out of stock at this point so get one while its there.

Vizio, which is trying to stay one step ahead, will be producing an internet connected TV later this year.
