Nvidia and AMD have both unveiled their latest video cards this morning both retailing for around $250

With a price tag of around $250, the GeForce GTX 275 and Radeon HD 4890 are well rounded cards that will surprise you with their specs.

Both feature a two-slot PCI Express design and support their respective multi-GPU technology – Crossfire for AMD and SLI for Nvidia.  The new Radeon HD 4890 is expected to be up to 30% faster too.

All in all, both cards appear to perform very similarly, perhaps with a slight lead to Nvidia’s card in a few games.
