Apple has sumitted a subpoena to "DVD" Jon Lech Johansen over his "doubleTwist" application and how the new app opens the market to all brands of phones

Apple has sumitted a subpoena to "DVD" Jon Lech Johansen over his "doubleTwist" application and how the new app opens the market to all brands of phones, not just the iPhone.

"Consumers expect to be able to enjoy their music and videos on any device just like they can play a DVD on any DVD player and a CD on any CD player", says Jon

Jon and his team created doubleTwist simply because they were simply disappointed by the quality of software applications offered by the major device manufacturers.
