Sonic Solutions & DivX announced their partnership to enable the transfer and playback of blockbuster content on DivX Certified(R) mobile devices.
DivX Certified phones with DivX compressed video allows users to store the highest quality media on virtually any phone.

As an example, a standard definition movie (usually about 4.7 GB) can be compressed into just 1GB using DivX technology; a size that can easily be stored on most internal memory cards or standard SD cards.
