Reports came storming in this morning from users of older PS3 consoles that were not allowed to log on to Sony's PlayStation network and in some cases not getting access to the games at all.

Sony says you can check their Twitter account for updates on this issue.

Those who have not connected their consoles to the internet may be able to temporarily safeguard themselves by keeping their consoles offline until a fix is reached.
