The Motion Picture Association of America has convinced a judge to permanently ban the sale of RealNetworks’s “legal” DVD ripper, RealDVD

The Motion Picture Association of America has convinced a judge to permanently ban the sale of RealNetworks’s “legal” DVD ripper, RealDVD.

The judge also ordered RealNetworks to pay the MPAA $4.5 million to reimburse them for court costs incurred by appealing the initial lawsuit.

Another one bites the dust...but they won't be the last...
