Google and Dish Network are reportedly testing a new service that could eventually allow users to search both YouTube videos and Satellite TV programming

By working directly with Dish Network and its hardware, Google could avoid the issues that have plagued former attempts at joining the internet and TV, such as having to purchase new hardware.

As of right now, the Beta testing is only available to select DISH Network employees.
