In their latest attempt to invade your TV, Google in combination with Intel and Sony have been working on a Android based set-top box for Google TV with Logitech peripherals (remote & small keyboard).

"Google wants to be everywhere the Internet is so they can put ads there."

It's based on Google's Android OS, and will be open source allowing third party developers to write their own plug-ins.  Will it be like Apple's App store? 

Only time will tell...
