Microsoft launches version 4.5 firmware update for the Zune HD that adds Smart DJ to the touchscreen.  You will also have the ability to use the on board Wi-Fi to add as many as 30 more songs to a playlist for anyone using a Zune Pass.

Upgrading to the new firmware also brings support for many AVI container video formats, including XviD.  However, it is still unclear if the new 64GB model will come preloaded with this new firmware.
