Sling Media announced today that the Android client of SlingPlayer mobile is already in the works and is currently in private beta stage now.
A few people that signed up for Sling's beta program have already been contacted and given a link to the new software.
One of Sling Media's stipulations were, under no circumstance are you allowed to discuss the new application or the beta program itself.
The app will allow users to stream live or recorded video content from a home-based Slingbox over either 3G data networks or a handset's Wi-Fi.
