Google has put all the rumors and speculations to rest this afternoon by announcing Google TV, which combines surfing the internet with channel surfing.
Google TV will come either in the form of a set-top box or will be built into certain TVs Google has been working with Intel, Sony, and Logitech.
The operating system the set-top box or TV will be using is going to be open source so that it can be further enhanced by developers.
There was no pricing information released but they did say they should be available to purchase as early as this fall.
