The Zune HD gets a much needed app update including the addition of Microsoft's Live Messenger giving users the ability to stay current on the most popular social networking sites.
The main screen allows you to jump to your social stream, friends list, active chats, or the app's options. Live Messenger can also display the current song you're listening to, just like its desktop cousin does.
Better yet, Facebook chat is supported on the Zune app, so you don't have to jump back-and-forth between the Messenger and Facebook apps to keep the conversation going.
Live Messenger is now available in the Zune Marketplace.
