Roku has just announced that PlayOn-compatible channels have been removed and can no longer be added to the set-top boxes.

PlayOn was contacted by Roku and told that they were going to not allow this channel anymore because neither the Roku channel developer or Roku were affiliated with PlayOn.

If you already were lucky enough to already had a subscription to one of the channels, you can keep it but, no one is certain how long.
