YouTube was banned a second time in Turkey after being banned for 30 months due to offensive material (a secretly taped video showing the former chairman Deniz Baykal in a bedroom with a female partner).
Users who try to access the site are greeted with a blank screen with a message informing them that YouTube is blocked as part of a May 2008 court order (Same message appeared the first time they were banned).
Turkey has also blocked other Google services such as Google Docs, Google Books, and Google Translate, reportedly as an extension of the YouTube ban.
