TiVo this morning unveiled a new iPad remote control app for its Premiere DVR set-top boxes

TiVo this morning unveiled a new iPad remote control app for its Premiere DVR set-top boxes.

The remote app for the iPad will allow users to fully control all of the features of the set-top, just like the original factory remote.

The iPad and the TiVo need to be on the same local network and the DVR will need a software update to fully support the communication from the iPad.
