So the December NPD US video games sales stats are out, and I've just finished writing the analysis.
It's a bumper month for sales, with the holidays always generating a healthy sales bump. All eyes are on the Xbox 360, as it has won almost every month (as the most popular home based console) since the "Slim" version of the console was released. But the Wii is a huge seller during the holidays (having sold an amazing 3.81 million units last December), and so the Wii could end a relatively bad year on a high.
And don't forget the PS3 - while it hasn't been making much headlines in terms of console sales, the introduction of the Move and ever increasing game sales could help Sony have a great Christmas too.
