The review for PowerDVD 11 has just been posted, and not to give anything away, but there are some very interesting and useful new features in the latest incarnation of this popular media player software.
The major changes are for photo handling, social media support, and smart devices support.
For the first time, PowerDVD now also handles your photo files, now with slideshow support. There's also online support, allowing you to view your Facebook and/or Flickr photos from within PowerDVD, as well as download and upload photos to these accounts.
For social media, apart from the aforementioned Facebook and Flickr support, there's also now an integrated YouTube player right in PowerDVD, making it easy to view your subscribed videos without even starting a web browser. You can also now upload videos to Facebook, as well as YouTube.
Then there's smart devices support, which allows your iPhone, iPad or Android device to connect to PowerDVD. You can use your touch device as a remote control for PowerDVD, including a mouse pad that also works elsewhere in Windows. Plus, you can now also stream photo and movie files from your smart device to your PowerDVD enabled PC via your home network.
There's also a couple of other new exicting changes, which you can read all about in our review.
