The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 7th May 2011 has just been posted. It was another week that was light on release, and despite the top selling title The Green Hornet doing well on Blu-ray, the poor performance of the equally well selling The King's Speech on Blu-ray ensure Blu-ray market share fell slightly.
Still, Blu-ray market share returned to growth when compared to the same week last year, a trend recently interrupted due to this time last year's release of Avatar, which helped Blu-ray to perform above the average back then.
