The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 14th May 2011 has just been posted. A few more new releases, but nothing that would really be considered A-list, so Blu-ray revenue and market share only increased slightly. The week's top selling new release was No Strings Attached, while the frist time on Blu-ray release of Alien as individual releases also helped Aliens to get into the top 10.
Revenue for both Blu-ray and DVD was down compared to the same time last year, again due to the lack of hit new releases.
