The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 16th June 2012 is in. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows completely dominated the week's sales charts as expected, and helped to produce one of the better weeks for 2012 in terms of Blu-ray sales and market share.
It's interesting to note that the top 5 sellers on the combined Blu-ray and DVD charts all had Blu-ray sales shares close or over 50%, meaning that for popular titles, Blu-ray is more often than not selling as well as DVD, if not better.
