The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 14th July 2012 is in. Just the single new release this week, American Reunion, and unsurprisingly, Blu-ray revenue and market share remained pretty flat compared to last week.
The lack of new releases ensured that the same week in 2011 earned higher revenues for both Blu-ray and DVD, although Blu-ray market share for the week still climbed (an admittedly paltry) 1.04 percentage points compared to a year ago.
