The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 10th November 2012 is in. A release of an A-lister helped to push Blu-ray revenue and market share up compared to recent weeks. The Amazing Spider-Man was clearly the best selling release on both Blu-ray and DVD.
But despite this release, Blu-ray revenue, DVD revenue and Blu-ray market share all dropped compared to the same week last year. But then again, last year this time was the release of the final Harry Potter movie, so the comparison isn't that fair.
