The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 6th July 2013 is in. An old release, Despicable Me, was the best selling Blu-ray of the week as there were no new releases in the top 10.

The quiet release schedule has everything to do with the 4th of July holiday, but even so, the week ending the 6th of July 2013 is officially the slowest week in terms of Blu-ray revenue and market share for 2013 so far.
