The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 26th April 2014 is in. This week has the unfortunate distinction of holding the record for the worst ever week for DVD revenue, at least since 2010 when we began tracking Blu-ray and DVD sales. Blu-ray sales were also down when you look at the equivalent period from last year (the post Easter lull). The complete lack of any new releases in the Blu-ray top 20 contributed to this poor result.
