• Panoptica takes account of pixel aspect ratio when it is not 1.0 (in exposure balancing, analysis, rendering and conversion of movies to image files)
• New option to freeze the action when setting the action timing

• The main changes are :
  • New welcome screen to help get started with Panoptica
  • Refinement and simplification of the process for importing movies and images

• Bug fixes include:
  • Movie viewer and frame selector update when the camera move or action timing changes
  • Improvements to frame selector display for movies which have portrait frames

• The main changes are in two areas: memory usage and the Windows installer:
  • Reduced main memory usage
  • Reduced graphics adapter memory usage
  • The command to un-pin all frames of the analysis in the Camera Geometry Viewer is moved to the context menu
  • Windows installer: this is now a fully per-user installation. As a consequence it will be necessary to enter the product key again after installing this new version. Administrator privileges are no longer needed to install the software or enter the product key.
• Bug fixes include:
  • an incorrect frame occasionally being displayed in the Camera Geometry Viewer
  • OpenGL errors being mishandled on detection causing extra graphics memory usage
  • a crash caused by mishandling of image movie frame numbers

• Release Date: Apr 13, 2011
• For licencing reasons, support for the H.264/AVC decoder has been disabled in the evaluation version. It is reinstated once the product is activated with a product key.
• The direct rendering of frames has been optimised to use fewer graphics adapter resources.
