- New Now supports the TMPGEnc Movie Plug-in Commercial Candidates Detector (Sold Separately).

- Added [Move to previous/next frame] in the right-click menu of the Chapter list.
- Added the One-time cut option for the split-ranges in the Cut-edit menu. It is capable of cutting all blue(CTRL+E) or orange(CTRL+R) ranges at once.
- Added the output as split points option in the Advanced Chapter tool.

- Corrections (Output) Fixed: When using the Intel Media SDK (Hardware), the output bitrate control of CBR mode did not work correctly.
- Fixed: The encoder changed the output file's level without user control when outputting by using the Intel Media SDK (Hardware).
- Fixed: Occasionally an invalid memory type error occurred when the CUDA function is enabled.
- Fixed: When the aspect ratio of a file loaded by the BD/DVD/TS reader was changed, the file could not be smart-rendered.

- Fixed: When the "align beginning of each line" option was disabled, the line header of the same two inputted contents in 2 rows were not aligned.

- Fixed : When replacing audio being set to loop with another audio source, the loop duration would not reflect the duration of the new audio.
- Fixed: When the disc insertion option is set to display the top menu, the focus moved to the last track during playback.
- Fixed: When changing a track name by double-clicking it in the menu edit window, occasionally the inputted name would not be reflected correctly.
- Fixed: In the DVD-Video output format, when all the "chapter end action" options were set to "back to the menu", occasionally it would suddenly return to the menu during playback.
- Corrections (Other) Changed: In the Windows 7 jump list, "open previously outputted project" subject was moved to the Tasks group.
- Changed the compatibility of the project file. Along with this correction, older versions cannot load project files saved with this version or later.
- Changed: The sensitivity of the audio waveform display has been improved to display softer and finer sound.
- Fixed: In the NVIDIA graphics environment, when the "balance" or "quality" was set in the NVIDIA control panel, the video playing in the cut-edit window would occasionally fall into disorder.

Notice: This problem would cause the subtitle data to fall outside of the Blu-ray standard created by TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5 version 5.0.7.25, which would cause an error when such files inputted into TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5. If you created a Blu-ray Project with subtitle data using version 5.0.7.25, we strongly recommend you re-output the project using this update in order to ensure proper playback on a Blu-ray player. We apologize for this inconvenience.

- Fixed MP4/AVCHD file reader updated. This update corrects an issue where some video data would not be decoded unless played frame by frame.
- Fixed AVI file reader updated. This update corrects an issue where AVI files having a partially invalid header could not be opened.
- Fixed MPEG-1/2 file reader updated. This update corrects the issues listed below.
- Improved the MPEG-1/2 file importation when the VBV buffer size value is smaller than what is expected from the file characteristics, but is still within the limits.
- Only the audio stream from some TS files would be loaded in spite of having a compatible video stream.
- Fixed DVD file reader updated; abnormal DVD-Video may now be imported partialy instead of being completely rejected.
- Fixed 44.1 kHz Dolby Digital audio file would not be correctly decoded.
- Fixed Multiple WTV files imported through the Source Wizard would not open correctly.
- Fixed Could not move a clip from a track to another when the original track contained 99 clips.
- Fixed In the Slideshow editor, applying a slideshow general transition setting other than "None" would also change the slide's local transition setting when such setting was "None".
- Fixed In the Slideshow editor, changing a slide's local transition setting would raise an internal error preventing the correct setting to take place.

- Fixed AVCHD file reader updated. Some data would cause the continuous display of the same picture.
- Fixed DVD-Video with a VOB containing a lot of useless data would not be correctly imported.
- Fixed Conversion to PS of some WTV files would suddently come to a stop.
- Fixed MPEG file reader updated, allowing the correction of the issues listed below.
- TS files containing abnormal packets would be processed as normal packets, causing an error during the importation;
- Some TS files would be mistakenly recognized as a PS file;
- Linear PCM at 192 kHz would not be correctly processed.
