AsfBin is a command line utility for cutting out fragments, joining, editing and repairing ASF files. AsfBin can be applied for any ASF file, that is, not only those with ASF extension but also those with WMV and WMA extensions. The whole operation is performed without any recompression. Thus the video quality is not degraded and the resulting file remains as unchanges as possible.
The result of an operation is always one media file. Maybe the most important feature to many of you is the fact that AsfBin can handle damaged files. It simply skips bad area and starts after finding a next good sample. Unlike AsfCut, AsfBin can survive some errors in the header and can read data after the damaged area even if the file isn't indexed.
