• QuickTime splitting engine added
• Now HandySaw can use Apple QuickTime API to copy media in separate files for MOV and MP4 sources without media transcoding

  Now HandySaw can internally use included FFmpeg.exe application to copy media in separate files. This allows to create Split result for many formats with or without media transcoding

• "Split by ffmpeg.js" plug-in removed
  Mpegcut.dll usage removed
  

  Because of new FFmpeg engine addition old splitting routines were removed

• Self-tuning added to thumbnails retrieving and Manual Trimmer positioning routines
  

  Some decoders do not allow 1-frame precision seeking. Self-tuning algorithm added and it improved seek accuracy

• Scene margins support added to Split result
  

  Now user can specify how many extra media HandySaw will save before and after scene in new file during splitting

• SaveToTextFile method added to SDK
  Lang property added to SDK
  
• When HSQ file loaded and media file is missed user asked about new file location
  

  Now became possible to specify new media file location and do not run redetection at HSQ file opening if source media file was moved

• Cut list import in Manual Trimmer added
  

  You can import list of cuts from external text file

• Now comments are appending instead of assigning in Manual Trimmer
  

  When user selects comment from "Сomments templates" menu it appended via ";" to current scene comment instead of replacing one

• Debug capabilities extended
  

  Many debug info generating code added. Debug mode may be switched in preferences

• Online new version checking added
  

  HandySaw can periodically check new version appearance via Internet

• Max value of scene trimming increased to 999
  
• Interface font changed to TrueType "Microsoft Sans Serif"
  

  It is ClearType compatible

• "Break in timestamps enough for new scene start" parameter added
  

  Before it was hardcoded as 1 second. Now user can change it

• RGB to YUV conversion internal routine added
  

  Even if decoder cannot produce video in YUV color space HandySaw now can internally convert incoming RGB video to YUV and allow to scenes detector to work in YUV color space

• YUV colorspace now is default
  

  Because scene detector shows better result in YUV color space it made default color space
